Tailor Made Motorcycle Tours Throughout The UK

We get many requests regarding motorcycle hire and tours in Britain.  Due to this, as of 2010 we are introducing a new motorcycle tour service.  We think it is unique to the market and believe that it will be particularly popular with overseas visitors to the UK.  It is a bespoke service - you tell us what you want and we will arrange it.  For example, you want to be picked up from the airport; you want a hire bike dropped off at your hotel; you want a short day trip to the University town of Cambridge or Stratford Upon Avon (William Shakespeares birthplace) or a week long tour to Wales or Scotland; you may want to hire a Harley Davidson or you may want to hire a superbike; you may want to stay in 5 Star hotels or rustic country Bed and Breakfasts.  None of the above is a problem - you have total flexibility to chose when, how and what you do.

The Concept

  • The tours are tailor made.  You discuss with us what your requirements are and we will sort out the details.  No fuss, no worries - you get the holiday and tour that you want.
     
  • We can cater for different size of groups - 1 person to 20 people.
     
  • We can cater for different budgets - relatively low cost to very expensive depending on the length of tour, type of bike hired, standard of hotel.
     
  • We can offer nice touches like pick up/drop off from airport, pick up/drop off of hire bike, glider flights, rounds of golf, guided tours into London, show tickets etc
     
  • We can offer different standards of accommodation from luxury five star to rustic bed and breakfast.
     
  • A rang of bikes are available , Harley’s, Ducati’s, Honda, BMW.  We have established very good working relationships with two large motorcycle hire companies.  The bikes are all new or nearly new with low mileages.
     
  • Your bike will be fitted with an on-bike video camera so you can film a video of your trip.

An Example Tour

You are flying in from the the USA and arriving at Heathrow.  We will arrange pick up from the airport and take you to your luxury hotel in St Albans.  You have chosen a hotel which is in the centre of St Albans, near the famous cathedral.  Set in 5 acres, with its own lake, the hotel is a fantastic first night stop and the ideal base to explore the ancient Roman town of St Albans.

The following day you take the the train into London (30 mins direct from St Albans) - shopping in the West end, a show, the museums.  In the evening you can travel back to your hotel in St Albans or we can arrange a hotel in London.  The choice is yours.  If you want a guide to accompany you, this can also be arranged.

On the third day you want to take to the roads.  We will arrange for the hire bikes you have pre-chosen to be dropped off at your hotel.  Our guide(s) will meet you and give you a short briefing, you will be issued with two way radios so that the guide(s) can keep in contact with you whilst on the move.  You will also be issued a GPS Satnav (so you can keep track of your journey) and on-bike video camera.

You have chosen to go to the Norfolk Broads.  We will set set off through the small country lanes of Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, past country homes used by Royalty, through lovely rural villages.  We will stop for lunch at a tradtional local pub.  In the early evening we will reach out hotel on the coast; you have chosen a lovely converted windmill.

The following day we will follow the coast road stopping off for tea and scones.  In the afternoon we will head for the famous University city of Cambridge.  You will get ample opportunity to explore this vibrant University city.

Then it is back to your hotel in St Albans where you drop your bikes off.

The above is purely an example of a possible trip.  Of course, you could make it longer, shorter etc.  There is total flexibility - you don’t fancy Cambridge and the Norfolk Broads but instead want to go to the Cotswolds and then the Yorkshire Dales for a week - no problem.
