Welcome to the world of British Bike Tours.  Hopefully, you will find our web site interesting and that some of our tours will tickle your motorcycling and traveling taste buds.  Here is a brief introduction to who we are and what we stand for:

  • We have been running tours since 2005.
  • We are a fully insured Tour Operator.
  • We offer value for money tours whilst still ensuring that corners are not cut and that we comply with the numerous laws and regulations covering Package Holidays.
  • Your safety is paramount on all our tours.  All our tours have been risk assessed.
  • Our guides are all very experienced.
  • We have an enviable 70% customer retention.
  • Some of our customers are on their tenth tour with us.  Many customers are on their fourth/fifth tour with us.
  • We are honest - if we think that a particular tour is not suitable for you we will tell you.  Of course, we will then direct you to a tour that is perhaps more suitable.
  • On our ‘Adventure Tours’ we employ local guides, mechanics, drivers.
  • We believe and participate in ‘Sustainable Tourism’.  We often use ‘Eco-Friendly’ hotels, employ local guides, support a number of charitable organisations in Nepal India and Morocco.
  • We are very innovative particularly in the use of new technology.  This helps us run a very efficient business which is reflected in our very competitive pricing.

Peter - Hard days work in Southern India!At British Bike Tours we have two great passions in life.  These are motorcycling and traveling.  I am never happier than when I am on a bike, especially if I am traveling through beautiful scenery with kindred spirits.  It really is the best experience in the world – the sights, the sounds, the smells, the expressions on customer’s faces, and the banter in the evening. Running motorcycle tours is the best job of the world; I love what I do with an absolute passion and this is reflected in our tours. We are a UK based company which specialises in running guided motorcycle tours throughout the world.  Many of our tours are based in mainland Europe where you use your own bike and we provide the guide, hotels, routes etc.  However, we do have a love for exploring new lands and as such we do arrange trips which are further afield to places such as India, Morocco, Himalaya etc.

Our tours are fully guided tours – we do not offer self guided routes etc.  We stay with you the whole duration of the actual tour.  The primary reason for this is that our routes are special; we have spent years researching the best roads, best scenery, and best hotels.  We will take you down the very best roads, through the most scenic countryside, stop off at the best villages, restaurants etc.  Don’t worry though, you will still be able to enjoy a blast, take photos when you want, stop for a cigarette etc.  We know the roads, so we will tell you when there are uninterrupted roads with no turn-offs and junctions.  We love twisty, technical roads and as such are always up for a bit of a play.

Our tours are designed to stimulate and challenge.  You will be on a bike for atleast six hours a day; it is a motorcycling holiday and not a sitting around the pool holiday. The roads will test your abilities as a rider whether you are on a sportsbike, cruiser or tourer. 

We think that there is a tour for everybody ranging from our short break tours in the ‘Vosges’ or ‘Normandy Beaches’ to our intense ‘ Himalaya Tour’.  If you like what you read then give us a ring or drop me an e-mail.
